Install remote support

One file. It lets us reach this computer for support whenever it has internet.

Download the installer PixelPup_Install_Mesh_Agent.bat

Click the button. Your browser saves PixelPup_Install_Mesh_Agent.bat to your Downloads.
Find the file, right-click it, and choose Run as administrator.
Click Yes on the Windows permission prompt, then let it finish.

Your browser may say this file is unusual or ask you to keep it. That is normal for a support tool. Choose Keep or Keep anyway. If Windows shows a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen, click More info then Run anyway.

What does it actually do?

It installs a small background service that keeps one outgoing connection to our support server, the same way your email or chat app stays connected. That is what lets us help you without asking you to read out codes or click through prompts first. Nobody can view your screen without it being visible to you, and the connection only goes to pixelpup.net.
